Silicon and amino acids
codasil is a liquid solution rich in silicon, free amino acids and peptides. The synergy created between these three main components facilitates an increased in production, yield and quality in crops.
codasil is formulated with a highly assimilable form of silicon which helps crops increase their Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE), improve their tolerance against abiotic stress and reduce phytotoxicity caused by heavy metals. This is all due to Si ability to increase photosynthetic activity, Water Use Efficiency (WUE), maintain osmotic balance, regulate the absorption or translocation of metals, reduce oxidative stress and increase structural stability all at the cellular level (shelf-life).
codasil applied foliarly also creates a physical barrier against adverse factors and gives the plant greater resistance to water loss.
